Raw Chocolate Sauce

This is really quick and easy to make and is ideal as a topping for poached fruit. The recipe uses raw cacoa powder as it contains more nutrients than regular cocoa powder but a good quality cocoa will work just as well.  Cacoa is a great source of polyphenols which boost brain function - amazing!

3 tbsp olive oil

1 and a half tbsp. pure maple syrup

pinch fine sea salt

3 tbsp raw cacoa

Whisk the olive oil, maple syrup and salt together in a small bowl.  Add the cacoa powder whisking well until smooth.
